PhilLondon: moxxey: I would want the BS5 to ship with a stackable BM5 that you could chain together. I'd want it to support the playback of DVD video so I can backup my DVDs to the BM5 The DRM in DVDs prevent B&O and any other brand from selling a plug and play solution that does that. That said, the HDR1 or HDR2 allow you to record and store

As I said in another thread, I quite like the design of the BS5 hardware, but am not a big fan of the user-interface, from the images. I'll make a final decision on that when it reaches my local dealer. However, there are other issues for me. I would want the BS5 to ship with a stackable BM5 that you could chain together. I'd want it to support

I guess that's because the latest products have symmetry when designed by the same person? Same with the older Jensen kit?

I like the design of the hardware, but the interface looks absolutely awful. I've been told by my dealer that UK dealers expect their demo units by this Friday. We'll get to see it in person soon.

Stars: Hold on a sec guys. Are white BL3s an official colour now? I think they look great from what the photo shows yes, but as we said, they aren't like they are in the photo - they're very glossy. Plastic gloss. They should be the same as the white BV8. Matte white.

Dave: moxxey: Nothing else in the B&O range is glossy white! Beocom 2 is > and it looks beautiful in glossy white! But the lines of the BL3 clash with the glossy texture and black speaker membranes in my opinion - a pretty ghastly looking product that wouldn't be welcome in my house Sorry, I should explain my words more carefully - I meant

Sal: That's not entirely true.. You're being pedantic. I know you can buy converters, but I meant you can't connect 'out of the box'. However, my main point is that Apple dared to make the change and have made the change three times in the last 10 years. Change sometimes needs to happen, unfortunately. There comes a time when B&O

Christian: Hiort: ... Does anyone know if the white BV8 is hard to keap clean? Very! It is difficult to remove dirty finger prints. I received my BV8-26 in June and decided to give it a good clean on Sunday as the screen was greasy (it's in the kitchen). As there is no glass, there's only so much force and cleaning you can apply to the screen

BTW Peter, maybe B&O should do what Apple have done recently - move to yet another display connector. They've now changed something like 3 times in 10 years. I've got no motivation to look it up, but this new Mini Port or whatever it's called is now a new way of connecting Apple equipment to their latest screens. Anyone who buys a Mac

tournedos: Christian: I am a bit confused. Is Blu-Ray: HD or Full HD? That depends on the actual title, but it can definitely be Full HD. Most movies are full 1920x1080 @ 24p. So far, I've not bought a Blu-ray that isn't 1080p (Full HD)?
