    I'd say go for it. You can set up the MacMini to access the media directly from your iMac if you wish, or the other way round. All that's required is that both machines are running a user account with exactly the same name...

    My connection generally runs at around 400kbit/s, and my sister gets along fine downloading music. Yes we do need a major refresh of the phone network in the UK, but that's not stopping the music download business at the moment, but does seem to be affecting the movie downloads market.     As Peter has said, it's not an issue with the hardware, but a software issue in the TV. Wait a bit, and if the BeoSystem 3 is anything to go by, the BeoVision 7-40 should be stunning even with SD.
