tc: I think it looks ok, but then I always liked the AV9000. I would have liked them to produce a centre (mono) ALT version of the 7.1/7.2 as I particularly like the style of this speaker and think the BV7 looks much better with it than with the 7.4 Adrian. I don't see how they could do this though. For the speaker to sound as good as it really needs

Agreed. Part of what I like about B&O's designs is that while they may have design and wow factor like no other product on the market, there's something very non 'flashy' about them, very subtle... I guess that's why I like Audis, the styling is very subtle but image conscious at the same time.

moxxey: Flappo The Grate: most people who buy their stuff ( outside this forum ) don't have an idea how to work a mac / pc and the last thing they want / need is a media centre - that will just complicate stuff Correct. My Mum is coming in to some money soon after selling the family house and was thinking of some new stuff for her (smaller) new

Apparently it's more like 135"... When you get up to that size, a projector would be better. The amount of energy a plasma screen that big would use must be insane...

Chrisreunion: Looking at the specs, the new BeoLab 10 offers exactly the same performance as BeoLab 7-4, in a different design..once again, I wish B&O had spent more time working on performance than simply on a new design. The purpose of BeoLab 10 or 7-4 is to work with BeoVisions 4 or 7 and a set of ALT fitted speakers, = BeoLabs 5 or 9, that means

linder: Alex, It is not about the truth. Its about marketing. B&O products are in Audi cars not BMW. Audi cars are on the B&O website. Can you imagine Steve Jobs telling someone there are better products that should be considered other than Apple? You are right. I would expect a salesman to be more truthful if that's possible but I would

To me it looks more like an AV9000 revisit.

Does it count if there are three of us online?

You need a subwoofer which has a 'high pass output' at line level. This means a subwoofer which cuts out all the bass it itself is covering, and passes this 'sub-bass-free' signal to the main speakers (BeoLab 8000s or whatever) so they can sing better. This is pretty rare though, most subwoofers only do this at an amplified level, whilst you're really

You can change the default screen capture file type in OS X, just type defaults write com.apple.screencapture type jpg into Terminal. Obviously, you can change what goes at the end. PNG is the best, as you'll end up with no image quality loss, but a very small filesize (as long as there isn't a massive variation of colours in the image). In OS X, Command
