Not aware that you can easily do it wth the Overture series but the CD5500 (and 6500, 7000) CD players have digital out that you could use with a separate DAC/Amp combination. These would still need connection to a Beomaster however if you wanted remote control. (The BC2 and of course the BS9000, as you've already mentioned, also have digital out

I wouldn't disagree with anything posted about HD VOD - however, for me that's still the future. Here in the UK I have a 512Kbs ADSL connection due to distance from my exchange. I believe others in the UK (Peter and young Alex spring to mind) have similar or worse connections. The government has committed to us having a minimum of 2Mbs connections
