Stunning machines! Capable of excellent results - I still have one! Very large though - these are actually quite sought after by V2000 enthusiasts - I believe there is a web site!

Very similar speakers and both sound good. The family of speakers changed a little - the bigger S60 became the S75 because the Beomaster 4000 was replaced by the Beomaster 4400 so a higher rating for power handling was required. The backs of the speakers changed from a resin back to a vinyl covered wood back and an extra bit of metal trim was added

Quite correct - it is the software in the Penta. Mine are the same. No update available that I am aware of.

I don't see why not - I think if we use only a small part and even do a link to Amazon where the music can be bought, there could be no complaints. My only problem is where to stop! The music develops over quite a period!

You can certainly hear hiss but it doesn't detract from the music. I do actually have another version - thanks to a very good friend, I have a Japanese Gold pressing of Time Out. Needs a jolly good clean - but these are supposed to be the ultimate versions! I cannot tell you the year as the label is almost all in Japanese! The catalogue number is

Mine is the CBS Jazz Masterpiece version - re-mastered. Very quiet vinyl.

Just stirring! The orange is supposed to be very big in the Netherlands! I am getting black initially though the blue has its attractions - I have a blue Avant at present and the BL2 and rear 4000s are blue as well.
