We have an Avant with Beolab 9s in front and Beolab 1s in the rear. The 1s are connected to Panamax in wall B and O power link boxes which are in turn wired through the walls to another Panamax box behind the Avant. I run one power link from the Avant to box behind it. Tonight I noticed a periodic buzzing from one of the Beolab 1s that sounded like

My wife and I have always felt that our Avant's picture is better than anything else we have seen. The only draw back is the size. The picture quality is one thing that has kept us from buying a new TV. We plan on purchasing a new BV 7 this month and I think the picture quality of B and O LCDs and plasmas is now approaching that of the Avant. I

Thanks for the comments. We are trying to decide between 40 and 50 inch. We sit between 10 and 13 feet from the screen. We feal 46 inch would be perfect, but obviously that is not a choice if we want B and O.

Here is an issue I have seen on other forums but do not recall seeing it here. What does everybody think optimum viewing distance is for 40 inch and 50 inch TVs?
-
We can't place the TV any closer to the seating position. The room was wired for B and O when we built the house so all of the speakers need to stay where they are, and thus the TV needs to stay in one spot also. Given the layout of the room and the furniture, it also can not be moved closer. Right now the seating positions are between 10 and 12

What is a Panasonic Commercial panel? Where does one buy them? Are they available at retail electronic stores? What functions does one lose by using one rather than a BV4, other than the automatic color management.?
