Could the darkness be a result of how the picture settings are adjusted? Any opinion as to which is more clear?
-
Russ, does that mean you preferred the BV7 Blueray picture to the BV4's?
-
In Tomorrow Never Dies there is a scene where James Bond watches a fake newscast on an Avant. Also, in Christmas Vacation there is a scene where a B and O system (sorry not sure of the model) is destroyed/blown up by a flying projectile coming through the window from the neighbors next door.
-
Is your preference for the BV7 based on the overall design of the TV, ie it looks like something special from B and O rather than just another plasma on the wall, or is it the picture quality? or both?

LOL No, we were not wearing masks...just there on the right day. Same dealer had a 720p BV9 with for just over 50% off when the 1080p came out. We have not changed anything electrical in the house other than adding 4 low voltage lights to our outdoor low voltage lights. We have been very fortunate buying speakers. I have never paid full retail for a pair. 6000s dealer ordered in for another cutomer, customer did not want, and if I remember correctly we received a 15% discount 4000s first pair dealer display pair, 20% off 4000s second pair dealer display pair 70% off and had to buy new grills 1s dealer display pair

The Beolab 1s are plugged into Panamax wall outlets that are wired on a dedicated circuit. The Avant is plugged into a Panamax power conditioner which in turn is plugged into

I am glad to hear you say that. We feal the same way about the 7. Everybody is so preoccupied with screen size however we find ourselves succumbing to the temptation to look just at screen size. We sit 10-13 feet from the screen so either would work, 7 maybe just a little small, 4 just a little too big...but certainly a matter of taste.

Thanks once again! Now if my wife and I could just get over the little part of us that wants a BV4 and then actually get the BV 7 ordered. LOL

In anticipation of purchasing a BV7 I was reading the guide for it on the B and O web page. I noticed that speaker connections are labeled 1-6 rather than front and rear as on our current Avant. When we built our house B and O installed in wall wiring for the rear speakers in the surround setup. I run one powerlink to a connection in the wall behind
