Hi all, i've just got a pair of Beolab 2500's and i want to use them as PC speakers (3.5 mm jack from Mac) but they don't turn on with out the 8 pin powerlink, is there a way around this? I also have an Ouverture, but i don't want to use it as the master, it would be a waste of a beautiful machine!

Lets just face it, B&O LCD's don't make much sense just yet! Haven't seen the new BV7, but it is still a right rip off if you already have a B&O CRT. I think the BV9 may be the new avant, in that it will eclipse the competition for years to come.

I think in the long run you will regret getting BL4 PC's, too fussy, and won't sound too good, i think theses speakers may be poor value, but it would (in the long run) be worth patience, and saving up to get BL3's.
