Well done Martin and Keith! There is not much that you guys don't know regarding the innards of our B&O. We are in awe of you!

Evening Botty There are so many people on here that deserve recognition, but I guess you haven't got 100 spare bottles of bubbly. Being bank holiday, and a glorious day, most of us humans will have been out and about today. Don't be dis-heartened if there are not many online members. I'm here though Andy T.

I'm not familiar with this machine, but I would imagine there is some kind of muting circuit so that you don't get the thud when the stylus 'lands'. Perhaps it is staying muted too long because it hasn't completely landed. Just a thought. Andy T.

I'm here buddy. That's doubled the excitement!!!!

Congratulations to all you lucky winners Thanks Lee for your generosity. I am reliably informed that you were still at it at 23:30 last night!

I'm pretty sure that it is possible but the pins may need changing round. The tape socket on the Beomaster is wired for input and output. I connected an MP3 player to my tape socket of a 1960s 5000 system but had to resolder the wires in the din plug. Have a look at this thread , it might help. Andy T.
