Worse, I've heard that some UK dealers have changed their policy on installation costs and some of the prices do not include installation. Well perhaps these dealers should take sales-men course 101. Well I don't know about the UK, but here in Finland it's possible to get atleast 10% off new B&O. Just have to bargain a little :)

Vista is a load of BS anyway Is the BS 2 to be discontinued? According to the news bulletin some time ago Beo was about to cancel all future mp3 players? If so I can understand not making a new OS platform for it.

How long since it worked flawlessly with the battery? I believe leaving the battery empty for a long time will kill it.
