I hear that after careful consideration and a watchful eye on the market, Bang & Olufsen is finally ready to implement Laser Discs.

I don't think that the gap can ever be closed by traditional consumer electronics. As certain designers at the forefront of the current "wave" of design would stress, design concerns itself principally with the operation and intent of a product. What most of these brands are doing here is called "decoration." While it may look

I hear that Bang is also working hard on adding a second name to their company. I hear it will be connected by and ampersand.

RussR sits in for Trip tonght, as he's under the weather: Hi Frank, Avant US is 30/32" curved tube with a BeoSystem built-in. In fact the Avant-US apeared before the BeoSystem 1. The screen operates at 480p only, so you must set what ever HD source you are going to use with it to 48op ONLY. I got my hands on a similar TV earlier this year,

Just to clarify, it's the variable audio output you're looking for. Most RCA outputs are line level, meaning the speakers would come on and stay on at one volume (usually a very loud one). You simply need RCA outputs with variable volume, which are only on some televisions, while many AV receivers have them. Enjoy!

The BeoVision 7 is absolutely sold without the B&O mounting. There is no paperwork fudging necessary. You can purchase great brackets from STB in the UK and have them shipped here. Some stores even stock them due to the long lead time on deliveries. While there is no floor or table stand, it does look very pretty on a wall bracket.

BeoVision 7 hands down. I'll never be comfortable with the BeoVision 9. I like it more some days than others, but it always makes me miss the BeoVision 5. The 7 on the other hand, is as perfect a TV as I've seen since the Avant. If you won't miss the 10" go for the 7.
