The Beonic Man: I do a lot more than that when I am spending that kind of money, believe me! I don't doubt that for a second. I'm not quite certain I understand your post, though. The lack of reviews for the BV5 has you doubting its qualities? Or B&O should load its products with features to make them review-proof? For better or worse (usually

Today's star story, about the "pregnant B" logo, is kind of curious given that it's been dropped from the ads, where they're just writing BANG & OLUFSEN now. A white BeoVision 8? Where would I put it?

Made a nice little discovery tonight. Was watching a DVD-movie, using DVD-Player. Wanted to check how much was left and used Remote Button instead of the Music Button on the Touch. The Remote Buddy then sends a control display to Touch according to which application is the front one on the Mac, in this case DVD-Player. Then I clicked the blue arrow

Beobird: Alex: What's special about that? Sure it would sound good but it wouldn't be 'special'. There are lots and lots of very special sounding CD players & decks out there, even one or two hard drive based systems. None of them seem to do anything particularly differently though, other than just sounding very good... The Classé

http://www.radiomuseum.org/r/bang_hyperbo_5rgs5_rg.html The curved side panels are painted wood, as is the lid over the record player. But I seem to remember that the front panel was clad in leather, but as Peter says Mr. Mortensen will know best. His e-mail: rkm@bang-olufsen.dk

Yes, I'm linking to TS_Files, Quicktime files, files that I have converted from my EyeTV, etc. I have TV-series linked up -- DVDPedia itself doesn't contain a player, but will activate a file through the standard player that usually opens that file. You can set for full-frame playback and then you don't really care if it's QuickTime
