Beolab: It depends of were you live.. I´ve have got 100/100Mbit fibre for about 5 years now, and i live in Stockholm.. But the problem here isn't your broadband, it will be the servers and the bandwidth from each server. Your broadband might be faster than most servers can deliver data. We have a super-fast commercial-grade server delivering

TripEnglish: What I tend to see as the biggest issue is... No, the biggest issue - and a key reason why I've dropped out of this board recently - is the the current relationship we have with our dealers. And some of those dealers are posting on here. They need to realise that their words are somewhat representative of their dealer. We spends thousands

Alex: Software 4.17 works perfectly well. In fact 4.24 does for most users... Alex, you work for the Bath store. I'm not impressed with this reply. Think before you reply at times. See this: 1) Problem with the white flash with Blu-ray players and the PS3 in 1080p mode. Fixed with sw 4.24a. Annoying, but not as bad as... That was with sw 4.17 ^

Puncher: I believe the Sale of Goods act says something about "fit for purpose". If it was me.. I've thought of that, but then wondered a) about my relationship with my dealer and b) what would be my alternative? I've got so much B&O kit (and most of it causes no issues whatsoever). In theory, although the 'fit for purpose'

Oh, on a sidenote, I also work for the press and I emailed their press department for feedback on the original 4.24a crash-to-off (and another masterlink issue I was experiencing). I didn't receive a reply from the UK press dept. Their press dept HQ replied and said they were passing the issue to BeoCare. Never received anything else apart from

Hey, my dealer only answers a select few emails about the BV7-40 sw ;) Since buying the BV7-40 MKIII in Dec 2007, here are my major sw issues: 1) Problem with the white flash with Blu-ray players and the PS3 in 1080p mode. Fixed with sw 4.24a. Annoying, but not as bad as... 2) Problem with BV7-40 crashing to 'off' in July 2008, after sw 4.24a

soundproof: If you do choose to mechanise the digital, then make it a win-win proposition with the best of both worlds: optimum multiformat resolution and quality playback, combined with ease of use and operation that is non pareil. But also relies on you owning the CD to provide the digital audio (or a non-DRM digital track). This could be a problem

Weebyx: Actually, when i had my 4.95 installed, they told me that they were aware of problems with link rooms.. Yeah, but this rather stupid casual attitude to software development is daft. It's my local dealer that has to pay and supply an installer to update the software each time and is equally disappointed when it doesn't provide a fully

Nope, it's not working properly (in a link room situation). If I turn on my BV8-26, to watch Sky, in another room, the Sky box throws up a 'This display does not support HDCP Call 08702....' every minute. If I press 'exit' on the remote, the warning disappears for a minute. It only works if I have the BV7-40 turned on at the same

No, it's only a few months old. Very restricted as a 'media centre'. You're better off with Mac Mini. Go to the Apple refurbished store - there was one on there today for something like £329 this morning.
