  • Re: Beogram 2000 a few questions.

Hi Dave, in that case you are doing the correct thing. I may have another subplatter with the plastic hub intact if you want it - I'll have a look if you want. The recommended tracking force for the MMC4 is 1.2 g but if the cartridge is aged it may need to be set a bit higher than this but anything over 2.0 g could have a detrimental affect on your

Hi Dave & welcome to beoworld. Answer to question 1 is - no the stylus will (should) not be damaged. I'm gonna buck the trend here and predict that Martin will arrive unscathed. My reasoning? It's pretty obvious what they are transporting so they have no excuses to fall back on such as "the box wasn't marked fragile", or the usual get out of jail card - "well if you sign for it without checking the contents then you've

Got back home toady at @ 10am and the beomaster was up and running perfectly by 11am, I even replaced

  • Re: Beomaster 5000 and CD5500

  • Re: Beogram to match BS9000

For simplicity you'd be best suited with a Beogram with an inbuilt RIAA (not present in the BS9000) so my advice would be a 3500/4500/6500 or 7000, the latter 3 will match better than the grey 3500. As stated earlier you won't have remote control but to be honest it doesn't really matter when you have to manually place on a record, besides
