There was an article on beotech.org who to use a BV4 without beosystem. I personally would not do that though, I would look for use used beosystem 1 or 2. Also, the HD upgrade is pending, in the US they have a great promotion for the package, think 20% off to clear out the inventory before the full HD panels come. You might find a good deal in europe

I thought I saw a US DVD1 on Ebay. It does let you change the region and the product spec says it supports NTSC so I cant see why they wouldnt sell it. JK

Well in the US Apple store you do not just find the headphones, but also the Beolab 4 PC version. So they do have a relationship which might come out of the clickwheel incident. One hand washes the other I guess.

There is one right now on Ebay.com . It is quite expensive though with 600$. Normally you can pick them up way cheaper. Be warned, an US dealer made a funny coment about it on the old beoworld so it might be better to skip it and try getting a used beosystem.

That is a mean thing to ask now that he can't reply? So Alex are you? Are you? Good luck ... one of the benefits of beeing "old" is that you don't have to deal with this anymore. For me my last exam was 9 years ago and while I miss college a lot that is certainly something I do not. Cheers JK

Not sure. But we do keep hearing for a long time that it will use the BS3. Also note the price difference between Europe and US. If you add stand and HDD which I think the BV9 has you get a pricing structure between products that is somewhat realistic giving the BV9 is 10"larger. The BV7 in Europe is priced much lower, more like mid class. Keep
