The major difference is that the Ouverture has Masterlink the 2500 does not. The 2500 is 2 way remote the Ouverture is not It either says Beocenter 2500 or Beosound Ouverture on the back. (In N America the Ouverture is Beosound 4000)

You need a short cable set which your dealer should be able to order still. Comprises two short powerlink cables and two short mains leads. Was designed for using the system in a wall bracket with only one mains connection for the whole system and the other cables hidden in the bracket.

You will need to talk to your local B&O service center. The mod is unofficial but they will be able to do it. They will charge, of course!

If it's a Mk3 then it's probably still in warranty. Talk to your dealer. In fact, talk to your dealer any way!

Sounds like a fuse or some other electronic component has blown. I don't seem to be able to download the service manual at present but you can bet that there is a fuse in the power supply! This is best investigated by a service centre unless you are electronically competent as even if it is only a fuse blown then it is worth investigating the reason
