I don't know how you designate one transmitter is tied to one receiver ... I don't think it is a dependency on software levels
I'ts mandatory that the wireless transmitter and paired receiver(s) share the same SW version. A SW-update of the 2 recently bought Wireless 1s to share the existing network
does anyone know what the crossover frequency points are?
120 / 600 / 2000 Hz
I jsut downloaded the free BeoPlayer for PC but it only shows one radio station for each country, whats wrong?
As far as I remember, you have to register = create a new user account or log in, if already registered, during the installation of BeoPlayer for PC to get full access to all radio stations ....

You'll need a router/ wifi acess point and a MasterLink gateway to control your B&O MasterLink components. Furthermore a bus controlled light/home automatisation system also connected to the ML-GW via RS232 or TCP/IP like KNX, Lutron, ...

Yes of course. I'd simply ask the dealer to lend me a Beo4 for setup (or to deactivate the PIN before delivery) ...
Hm, hard decisions
BeoVision 10-32 offers a more interesting picture - the BLB3500 a better sound *g* But seriously, why not a BV10-32 and a BeoLab 11?
That's great! 5 hours after my BL5 purchase...
Don't worry - be happy ... Bobby McFerrin ... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d-diB65scQU Compared to other high end speakers BLb 5s are a bargain offer - if B&O wants to top the existing flagship by quite a margin, these speakers will be VERY expensive.
-
the dealer says that I don't need the beo4 remote, but I read elsewhere it's a necessity. Any thoughts?
If the BLB 5s are brand new, you'll need a Beo4 to enter the PIN-codes as a 1st step and to deactivate the PIN protection in a 2nd step. ATTENTION: ONLY ONE speaker should be connected to the mains

I'm using a slightly different approach to get a similar result: Before/while preparing ripping I rename the the album, edit, if necessary, arist, genre, year, composer (though currently not shown on BS5) and after ripping I rename folder of the Album to the same name, eg. Bach J.S. - Goldberg Variations - Glenn Gould 1981 or Schubert Franz - String
It should leave the showroom with the latest software!
I agree - but even then it can/will will happen older components of your system need to be updated too.
