  • Re: What makes B&O better?

Hi there, Phil I also think you have it spot on... its not so much about specs, technical details (altho they are the important things behind the scenes) to the average B&O customer.. its about passion/love for the brand which is the culmination of all the elements that you have highlighted ... As you also say its the smile that you get on your

  • Re: Please B&O, stop painting everything white

I think this is an interesting debate.... As an interior designer I like the concept of having options, and in fact believe B&O should offer more to give its customers the opportunity of a 'bespoke piece' that is unique .... and one day would enjoy the opportunity to create an all white interior with matching B&O ..... however generally

  • Re: Beomaster 2400 'VS Beomaster 4500

Upon reading this post, just had a little moment of nostalgia, as I had the realisation that the iconic and standout BM2400 was my first introduction to B&O. We were visiting family friends in the early 80's and they had just got this sound system that was nothing like the silver boxes I would see at the local electronics store... even more

  • Re: Beomaster 6000 4 Channel

Hi John, Well congradulations... glad you were able to get one so quickly... Hi Martin, Your right about shipping out of denmark its extremely expensive comparitively. For example, the same items shipped out of Denmark FedEx / DHL etc quoted US$1500 compared to US$600 when shipping from the USA. Fortunately in my case, I had a supplier who regularly

Hi John, Not sure if you have already solved your search for your BM 6000 quad, but I thought you could try the following dealer in Denmark. I purchased my BM6000 from them and was very happy with the condition of the units, altho they are a little more expensive, you would be gaurenteed of a functioning unit. http://www.radioogtveksperten.dk They have

  • Re: Interesting Observation - Loewe

Yep, also a very good point . . . Well we're all , no matter how much we say we're not, affected by the 'fashion, trend etc' of the day .... B&O has managed to transcend that.... lets hope they continue. This afternoon I just received a local electronics store catalogue.... flicking through, it occurred to me ... the classic, black

  • Re: Interesting Observation - Loewe

Well of course this is obviously a very subjective issue and why options such as matt / polished alu should be offered as alternatives as I have suggested. Also theres nothing wrong with just metal /glass.... I have a BS3000 at home.....love it.... What I am saying is as a consumer of a luxury brand I would like to see some choices to 'personalise'

  • Re: Interesting Observation - Loewe

Hi Soundproof, Agreed they do look spectacular... but to put this change simply down to cost is a little sad ... especially considering B&O is a luxury lifestyle brand and the pricing point ... I think this added detail would give a sense of craftsmanship that would be appreciated by most of its well heeled clients and would help the units to complement

  • Interesting Observation - Loewe

On a recent post reagarding the design direction I had made the suggestion of B&O looking back to take inspiration from their 'golden age' and one of my suggestions had been to reintroduce the timber veneer trims for 'added sense of exclusive luxury' to contrast against the slick modern details of the systems .... Well now .....
