Weebyx: Quim43: Razlaw: Anymore news on 5.0? Not yet The only thing i can say is, that i am currently testing sw4.95, and i havent had a crash since the upgrade from 4.24, so it seems that this issue is solved :) However, i have only had this SW since last tuesday, so it could be a coincidence, although i have been using my HTPC via HDMI every evening

Quim43: B&O recommends DVico TVix 6500 or 7000 as a HD mediacenter. It can be added in the PUC list and can be controlled by Beo5 and Beo4 already. I have the 6500A and it works perfect to watch videos in diferent formats, play music and see photos. It can have a built in HD DVB-T too. I am using Windows Vista MCE, fully controlled by the PUC controller

amunk: If this is true its absolutely great! This means very good opportunities to "hack" the unit and make it even better. Think about the AppleTV. This is actually what makes this a nice unit. I had the same thought excactly :) /Weebyx

M4SPM: I have a Panasonic PlasmaTH42-PH9 connected to a Beosystem 3, since software updates on Beosystem 3 this no longer switches on/off etc at the same time as the Beosystem 3 although it used to work fine. Is it going to be possible to write a XML file to control the switching on/off instead? Yes, it is possible, but have you tried to talk to your

BMGHB: As far as i know; the STB SW in a BeoSYstem 2 is a SW brick and NOT an updateble one. I know that shope can order a SW from the factory but this usually costs 200 400 euro.... The SW in the HDR1/2 is on the other hand easy to upgrade via a SW.. H Ok, my bad :) But i didn't think that B&O would be so stupid as to create STB tables that

Kiwi: We are watching satelite and normal TV. My BS2 + BV4-50 setup is well integrated with a satelite decoder currently available in the built-in STB-C controller list (table 3.61). We are watching cable TV via the normal TV plug and the built-in tuner of the BS2. The cable provider is trying to convince me (very hard) to switch from analog TV to digital
