It IS possible to adjust, so the "flyback" lines (or "retrace lines") disappear...I have done it on my BV 3, with a little help from another Beoworld member (thank You). Anyway -the lines on my TV did not look quite like the ones on your picture. On my BV 3 there were green lines -only visible when the picture was very dark. It's

It's probably the BeoCENTER 8000 you mean... The Beosystem 8000 is from the early 80's and has seperate units; Receiver, cassette and record player -no CD. The BC 8000 is pretty much the same as the 9500 -but without some features -such as timer, two-way communication etc. And a grey finish instead of mirror-finish.

There is a main fuse (near the Power supply, of course). Try to change it -but it will probably blow again...there is a reason why it has blown. I hope somebody here on Beoworld with more technical skills than me, can tell You more about what can possibly cause the problem. Steffen
