I must admit that I have only scanned my stylii under low magnification so it looks as if I will now have to find a more powerful lens to work with. Kokomo The two PCB's that are inside the LC2 are still available as spares so that makes it a lot easier. Assembly is reasonably straightforward - I just repaired one recently. Regards Geoff

Hi everyone The beta version of my BM4000 pretuner cover has now dried and I was able to take some photos. Doesn't look too bad but plenty of room for improvement. Anyway, the first pass only gets the dimensions sorted out and identifies all of the construction techniques that have to be improved. I will now wait for a rainy day to try again. Regards

Hi It sounds as if you are another member of the club of people who have arm lowering difficulties on this machine – not uncommon as you have probably gathered. In your case, something serious must have happened in the past if R56 has been cooked and I cannot guess what other parts in the solenoid circuits may have been damaged at the same time

kokomo Totally agree, the markings are faint but they are there and clearly state what is required. Got caught on that one myself first time around. Once the wiring and the fuse is sorted out, the diagnosis gets a little easier. Regards Geoff
