Have you chesked for any conflicting ip addressess?

I remember in the old days that I connected an Avant to a BeoCentre 9000 via a BeoLink converter and it worked great although it was not officially supported. Now I want to do similar with the Bvis 8 (with system module) and a BeoSystem 5500 and again it is not officially supported but has anyone tried this combination and had success? Thanks
