I'd love to go! :) May Bank Holiday weekend (May Day) could be good?
-
Hi Kevin Not sure if you got my email reply or not - Check your junk mail :)

Haha. Yes they are simple to change. I'm not sure the trade would be particularly sensible on my part based on what they are currently making , I am convinced the 4000 is set to rise in value even further! Having said that my offer still stands. If you don't want it I will take it off sale, get it fully serviced and keep it I reckon. :)

Hi Could I interest you in a Beogram 4000 + cash your way?
-
These are not too expensive from Bang & Olufsen - I once painted mine white and decided I didn't like it so bought some new ones! Worth calling for a price!

I am moving home soon. I currently live in a small-ish terraced house but will be moving into an apartment with a much larger, more open lounge living space (hopefully!)... This has got me thinking about my av stuff and how I can tailor it to suit my new pad. I have a Beosystem 6000 which I am very happy with. I don't want to update it, I really

Haha! It's a great shame Olly! I'm sure your missus is upset she is missing out on a TV in addition to all the rest of your B&O stuff!
-
Where are you based? Vintage B&O stuff is always for a limited/niche market although they are great speakers. Best bet is a decent eBay/Gumtree/Craiglist/Beoworld ad with a great description and decent photos really. It's a shame you don't have the stands because they are alot more desireable complete! I'd say value anywhere from £50

Thanks Nick! I would far prefer a BV7 or BV5 but I can't afford one - The Loewe's will have to do until then! The integration/link isn't too much of a problem for me as all my stuff is standalone anyway... One day if I am lucky, I will be able to afford a decent Beovision!

I'd have said so! Nicely finished though, with a proper contrast screen and the stand is brushed aluminium which looks great when the light catches it and you can see the grain. I'd say the build quality is definitely above Sony etc but not quite on the same level as Bang & Olufsen.
