However, my gutt feeling is that a component has blown on the TV and your being too quick is just coincidence. Hi: I was wondering if anyone knew what the fesability of swapping out the CD mech on one of these for one from a DVD Avant were? Has anyone had a DCD Avant apart? Hi: You will not see a red light but a brightish flash (white light I think) if your remote is working. Here is what you need to do: 1 Place your camera or phone camera lens in close proximity to theremote control's emitter bulb (you should be able to see this through the view-finder). 2. Whilst looking through the viewfinder, depress any of the
