Monday, was working hard for 10 hours, but I have to see what happens here, its getting near to conclution and I I'm so impressed.

Kind of old thread, but anyway, if your 901 is not reconditioned, do it, dont mess to much around with your contact cleaner, it will only spread the sh1t to where you dont want it, check here and here , if the caps wasn't changed in the speaker crossovers, do it, it does a lot to the sound, gets clearer and not so muffled. Tell us what happens,

For parts, cap and lamp kits, contact member Dillen on this forum, he may have parts you can use, he has caps and lamp kits for most vintage, for slider repair look here and here . The slide potis will be difficault to get, but maybe Dillen has some or another forum member has a slaughtered (God forbid) 3000. Dont mess around with cleaning presets

Went checking, but the fuse blew, thats OK, I put a 1 A. in it, should be 2 A, but I didn't have any, tomorrow another day

Up and running with speakers now, 1 hour nothing gets hot no channal jumps, will leave her a couple of hours more

From Beocentral Beogram CD 50 29th August 2008 The fault was no sound, although the disc was clearly being played as it turned normally and the time counter was reading correctly. The muting transistors were turned on all the time however, the cause was C351 in the muting circuit, it had dried up and gone open circuit. [ Beogram CD 50 ]
