It is in my dining room there is no tv and only a low light and a table lamp. how would i be able to tell? i cant see anything next to the cd? thanks mark

sorted the gear problem out! it was full of dust but the door still will not open so it looks like a trip to the dealer. Is there anyway of testing the receiver L.E.D ?? as behind the right speaker next to the door there is a small black IR receiver and on the ciruct board there are two IR transmitters are these for the door?? thanks so far mark

Ok now i have another problem? i remove the speaker frets and cleaned as advised (yes they were a bit dusty) now it has started playing up! when i play a cd sometimes it will stop and the door will open the the cd clamper will lift up, then close again and repeats itself two or three times then the door will close 3/4 shut and thats it. hi peter when it does move it is very smooth with no noise do you think when it is fully closed it is catching somewhere? mark

hi all can anyone help? my beosound century has a small fault. when i approach the unit somtimes the door will open but most times i have to slide it open myself does anyone know how to fix this? thanks all mark
