When I first bought my A8 earphones, I was also very disappointed with the bass reproduction. Then I learnt to really insert them as far as I could, and also applied scotch tape to the vents, and I must say now I'm more than happy with the whole line. I have A8 earset, Earset 1 Home and Earset 3 with my Serenata, and apart from the very fragile

BeoLab 6000 was originally quoted at 70 Hz freq. response at - 8dB, and with 2% distortion..that's not in the hi-fi standard. B&O quickly replaced those specs by an optimistic 55 Hz, but when you listen to them, they do struggle with bass, and distortion at louder volumes is quite noticeable. They excel with jazz or classical, however. I went

Er....sorry guys: BeoSound 8 is the first B&O product that "follows Apple". It is arriving almost 10 years after the rest of the other manufacturers started producing Ipod docks. And it has become in 6 months B&O's fastest & best selling audio product.. If B&O had "followed Apple" years ago, they may have lost

If it is so complicated for B&O to work with Apple, why not thinking the other way 'round?? Fit all BeoSounds with a USB input that can work as an Ipod dock, or fit a direct Ipod connector somewhere, and people will just connect their Ipod or Ipad to have gapless & ALAC playback capabilities, exactly like BS8 is doing..with metadata sent

Is BeoConnect changing anything to this issue? If using the WMP or Itunes library/playlists, if the media player is set to gapless playback, will the B&O device play gapless as well?

Well, I guess BeoSound 8 Encore could be on the way..

Any news on the next generation Linkplayer? It's been 9 months since the last version now, looks like it's time for the baby to be born....?

This is good news for B&O, now I hope they get the message clearly: - the pricing played an important role in making sales go that high, in B&O world at least - the fact they made a product for an Apple device shows they should collaborate more with Apple in general (remember the BS5 Encore/Apple Lossless debate..?)

Hi, I have a pair of BeoLab 4 on my desk at work and they surprise most people by their sound. In your setup, I would say they could be a good option as the surround speakers in a 5.1 system, however as main speakers with such a powerful center BeoLab, they would probably be left behind. If you had a subwoofer, it would be quite a different story and

Indeed, the normal stand-by time in line-in mode is 3 minutes on all BeoLabs.
