Hi there Are there that many advantages to buying Beolab Penta speakers for my BC9500 against the old Beovox ones which seem much cheaper? - Do the Beovox speakers have displays? I live in a flat so will not be able to play them that loudly but want the rich sound that they seem to give - a friend of mine has beovox pentas hooked upto a BM5500 and it

I have a Mk1 version of the TX Turntable, it was originally bought in the US and works fine through a voltage converter - the output connectors are two phono plugs - does anyone know if the datalink module is inside the unit and could be connected if I changed the lead to a 7 pin din or if it was actually not included as it's a cheaper BG6000?

Brilliant, thanks Peter - I was going to use the speakers in the avant 28 as they're pretty good - so to access the BS3000 do I press Link first? - I'll have to go and get cables so just want to check

I've got a BC9500 in my linving room linked to an avant 32 and BL4000 speakers. In my bedroom I have an Avant 28 that is also linked to the living room. I want to keep my BS3000 and use it in the bedroom as a seperate system - how do I link it in? - should I connect it to the Avant using ML but this will mean that I will lose control of Sky - not

I read somewhere once that by powering off and on products that are meant to be left in standby you reduce the life of the product due to the constant surges of power rather than a continuos stream - don't know how true that is but it would surely contribute to greater energy requirements to make new products and dispose of the old one. I leave

Hi Graham Yes, in future I shall not be adjusting the speakers but use the controls on the system itself - much safer option. But all is good now. The main difference in sound was between the BS3000 and 9500 in that the BS3000 doesn't seem as warm - to me I much prefer the 9500. Kind Regards Andrew

Hi there - thought I'd share this experience with you - I bough a brand new BS3000 about 3 years ago and a pair of Beolab 4000's - the system sounded ok but lacked the fullness that I had with my BC9300. I messed around with the adjustment screws at the back of the 4000's (W &T) and incresed the W to get more bass. The system then sounded

I made this mistake - the bit that sticks out and you tie the cables too needs to be pointing out in the middle - make sure that the cables have enough slack in them to let the stand rotate and that there is nothing blocking it - should be fine. I don't think there is a seperate connection for the stand though as it is fully built in. try rotating

I went on holiday earlier this year and the cottage had a 32" samsumg lcd - the sound was so bad that we couldn't watch it properly until we plugged in a bose sound dock - picture was very good though. Guess you get used to the sound from B&O TV and nothing else compares.

Thanks - going to upgrade tomorrow - I think that the extra bits were for the DD one rather than pro
