The woofers have of course got foam rot and need refoaming but also the mid-range units seem to be bad though they are still without holes. Where do I find the materials for refoaming? Are any of the units in the Beovox M75 compatible with the units in the Beovox M70. I'm asking because I can't get a pair of M75 in a very poor condition for almost nothing and thought I might be able to use them as spare parts for my M75's.

Do you know how to take the front grille off. I have tried, but they seem to be stuck. Not like the S75's that comes off very easy. You say it's worth replacing the capacitors. I know they can dry out, but will there be a noticeable improvement of the sound quality if they are replaced?

I've just purchased a pair of M70's with the original trumpet stands. I've already got a pair of S75's which I plan to replace with the M70's. Would this be a bad idea, I mean how are the M70's compared to the S75's? They haven't been connected yet and I don't know if they are working. First of all the replacement

Kevin: The door can sometimes be jammed on the CD50, the hinges are quite easily twisted. It could also be the rubber motor belt Martin does them. cheers, Kevin Kevin is probably right. Mine suffered from the same problem, a colleque of mine took it all apart(oh my God ) and replaced the belt. That did the trick.
