Very nice set up. I passed on the BL 9 in red because I thought they looked too 'orangy.' Very nice. How are you controlling the volume of the speakers? Some have written that with just the computer controls they can still be too loud. Dario

Welcome to the site. Adding a BL 2 is going to improve the sound of the BL 8000, specially the latest generation. If you are into bass, the BL 2 is going to be a very satisfying addition. The bass of BL 8000 is good to a point. Once you get below 60 hz, the speakers do not sound as good. Bottom line: The speaker will sound better in the mids and highs

Dear Moderator: Excuse the huge signature. I have no idea how that happened. Dario

Dear Keith: Thank you for the info. Wish list: Mac compatible. B&O is very windows friendly; so, I doubt that the software is Mac compatible. Dario

Dear Peter: Have any of the members who are programming the Beo5 made the methods available for the rest of the community? I think the rest of us would appreciate a guide to programming the Beo5. Thanks, Dario

Dear All: Has anyone being able to get the software to do the programming themselves? It seems, from the posts I have read, the dealers are having problems. I am wondering wether it would worth having one. I only use the BV 7 for movies and BS 9000. I have not linked rooms. Thanks, Dario

Helle David: For a good price, OPPO DVD/SACD and much more can be had cheaply. The reviews are very good for the price point and connections a plenty. Let us know what solution you decide on. Dario

Dear All: The BL 8000 are better than BL 4000 for your needs, classical music. The sound is fuller; the highs are clearer and brighter; mids are dynamic; however, bass is limited. You will not be able to pump-out anything less 45hz. In other words, you will need the BL 2 for real lows; though, I find the BL 2 a bit 'slow.' Dario

Dear Lee: Is Hiscox only in Europe? Do they insure just B&O and other specialized equipment or they general household insurer? Thanks, Dario
