  • Re: AV9000 connection with Beomaster 5500. Is it possible?

If your BM5500 has aux out you can connect it. I do it with my BM6500 with no problems. There is 3 types of Beovision AV9000 and the latest takes the 1611 converter. Mine is from 1998 and I do use 1611. Look at the type number on the back and behind the center speaker cover. Pull it off and there is a label with a year on it (2 digits). Other than that

  • Re: what you see beyond B&O designs?

Beyond the design? One touch for anything you want to do. Nothing that is to much and that you never going to use anyway. Most important the sound of the units! How brilliant they work together when they do work. Take a 1998 Beo4 remote and point it to a Beocenter 9500 late '80s and it still works great. There is so much thought put into the products

  • Re: Beosystem 6000 or 8000

CD 6000? There is CDX, CD50 ,CD5500, CD6500 and CD7000. I don't know where CD6000 fits in. I'm the owner of both Beosystem 6000 and 8000. I love the systems each for different reasons. I also have the Beosystem 6500 which sounds good but are so much better in the remote and linking department than 6000 and 8000. Then the space taken is also

  • Re: S45 (83-86) floor stand ???

I got original manuals for most of my Beovox speakers. S45-2, S80.2 S120 and M150 They all use the 6017 stand exept the M150 is called 6016. You have the option to wall mount those 6017 speakers too with the 6014 wall mount. I was close to missing those but thank god I noticed them and got the 2 NOS pairs. Each package consist of 2 plates, a bag of

  • Re: Beomaster 6000 Commander - where can I buy..

The '80s Beomaster 6000 had the optional remote 2035. I even had the experience of getting my white edition back from Dillen brought back from the dead only nto point my 2035 remote and getting no response at all! I called Dillen and he explained that it was optional. I looked under the plastic cover found under the bottom of the Beomaster and no

  • Re: AV 9000 issue- monitor problem

If 425£ seems much the wonderfull thing is how long into the future it will work. Besides what do you get for that price anyway? Any other AV9000 still running has the high posible of needing service at some point due to the powersupply which as we have said allready here is the failure point of AV9000 and MX when they reach a certain age. Your

  • Re: AV 9000 issue- monitor problem

First of all let's date this AV9000 as there were 3 types basically. The difference being software and standard remotes. Take of the center cover and look for label that has a year on it. Also look at the label at the back saying the type and maybe IMP. Year range is 1992 to 1998 and sadly the Beovision LX range last longer than the MX based AV9000

  • Re: How to turn off LOUDN on Beomaster 5500?

Welcome to Beoworld! Push sound 5 times. Loudness is constantly on in your case. Push arrow down and then store twice. The (volume control)arrows up and down takes loudness off and on. Store twice means that the Beomaster starts up without loudness.

  • Re: What was your first B&O purchase and why did you purchase?

I think I forgot why. B&O was among the best quality when growing up so if it was B&O it would at least work for some time to come. The Beogram 2000 looked design wise great and it was cheap too. When the whole system came together with an Attycca II stand it really looked great. The thing was that it was not really planned to have a complete
