Thanks - I'll give them a whirl when I'm next back at the house.

You will be able to use the Mk 1 BS2 as long as it has the software to tell the panel to switch to the second blade (the DVI card) which is essentially what the HD upgrade on the BS2 actually does. you would use a VGA to DVI-A cable but I don't recall the software allows for the PC to be set up as via DVI - you'll have to connect it as either

Well the Dunlop thing is hardly comparable. More like if the engine supplier reduced their pricing, you would expect the whole car to be cheaper. I appreciate that there is considerable cost in putting together B&O kit with sophisticated designs and materials - plus a high manpower cost, but if the build of materials cost reduces - especially on

Yes it was the EU model - big black ugly box!

Its a Samsung LCD I can't recall the product number but it is like the LN-T3242H. The remote only has one button for power on/off - and I suppose it toggles. It would be great to have discrete codes. The Lintronic database didn't list the TV, but listed another make which I have tried to use.

My first one (Version 1) didn't have VGA in.

As far as I am aware, the commandset still works with D7 onward panels - although it is likely extended. It would be good to get a copy of the latest set. I attach the D6 command set, which works with the D7 anyhow. Regards

While only connecting such a screen to a Beosystem 2 EU, I connected a PC using a cross-cable to see what was coming out of the Beosystem. I'd suggest you do the same so you can check that the BS1 is indeed sending something out. I did upload some time ago the sequence of commands that the BS2 sends along to the Pana panel with the input commands

Corvin: Hi frog, How i have set mine up is so that if i select any of the video options (TV,DTV,DVD,V.MEM) it will trigger an on command to the Plasma + the correct AV selection. If I select any non video component, it will trigger an off comand (obviously has no effect if the Plasma is off) Ah, I see that works if you have separate on/off commands

Corvin,As a matter of interest, which button do you use to trigger the Lintronic to send the on/off? I have a similar problem but can't decide which one to use to best effect.
