Zo worden bepaalde frequenties misschien heel subtiel versterkt in het filter van de speakers, terwijl de versterker, cd-speler of wat dan ook hetzelfde doet. Het resultaat is dat het geen subtiele versterking van een bepaald gedeelte

wonderfulelectric: BTW do the amplifiers in the Beolabs run in balanced mode? If they do then they will benefit greatly from XLR connections. Most high end components have XLR outputs/inputs because their components are run in balanced mode, meaning amplifying the negative and positive polarity separately which in turn means reduced distortion and noise

Primare SP31 (or 32 with hdmi ports) is all you need . It has got XLR connections and it looks very good too. The price is around 3500,- euro's. If you really wan't the best you should look at Lexicon, but the MC-12 is around 10.000,- euro's

Het is idd een verstandige beslissing om de zwakkere producten af te stoten. Vind het dan wel jammer dat ze de stand alone players afstoten. Er is nu bijv een Beovision 7 zonder dvd uitgebracht, en dan zou je hier dus onmogelijk dvd's op kunnen spelen via een B&O speler, of begrijp ik dit verkeerd ?

The plop is normall, you can avoid it by turning on the Beocenter first and then the power amp. If you wan't to turn it off, turn off the amp first and then the Beocenter. I thought it was caused because of a different output frequency (din out is 10 or 12 ohms and the amp is 4-8).

Never heard it, but I really love it with the Louie Vuitton cover (so much better than the bs6) . I never bought one because it had no screen . They should have launched one with a little controller in the earphones or whatever..

I've got the Sony A829, and it's a good player . It has blue-tooth too for wireless listening, but I prefer normall earphones. I took these instead of Cowon and Apple, because the audio quility was better. Put it in one of these cases and it looks pretty stylisch too.
