hagan: I tried to change cable, nothing. One more queston: can i change mx 6000 with mx 5000 as master? Or even use mx 4002 as master? regards The MX4002 can't be a Video Master, unless you remove the ML module and change the software, then it will become a MX4000. /Frank

beojeff: It detracts from the elegance of the Beo5. Think about it. .
-
Why??? Make a new button and name it V.AUX or what ever you like. I can't see how that should influence on the elegance of the BEO5?!? /Frank
-
I don't undestand your problem. If you program a new button and send the IR-command "TV" twice, the BEO5 will send these commands faster than you can press the buttons on the BEO4 terminal, and it will toggle the Avant to the next V.AUX source. /Frank
-
Press Standby and List at the same time, then List untill Config appears then 2, 0, 0, 2 The Beolab 3500 should be set to option 4. /Frank

beojeff: On my Beosystem 1 and Avant, the actual V.AUX command on the Beo4 is not used for certain connected devices when using the V.AUX source input. Rather, the "TV" button on the Beo4 is pressed repeatedly to toggle between the TV and V.AUX sources. Unfortunately, this applies to the new "Apple Remote" source when connected to

Keith Saunders: You are correct, you have always been able to eject a DVD even on the AVANT by pressing DVD and holding down the STOP button on the Beo4. To close the DVD tray you press DVD again. But before someone asks, you cannot open the Beosound 9000 by pressing the STOP button, it will just pause. It doesn't work with BV7-40 MK3 though. Only

YannChris: Hello, Yes, this function exists, as non-logical as it may be. It is of no effect on my BC2. Remote opening of the viking helmet, that's WOW effect. More seriously, I'd appreciate do press the "eject" key, go to take another CD or DVD in another room and find the BC2 ready to take it when I'm back. Yann. It does work
-
You are absolutely wrong, it does work, at least with a BV7-40 MK3 and a BEO5. And why shouldn't you be able to open the tray with the remote? The person to change the DVD could be your wife
-
Just found out that I was able to eject the DVD-tray with the DVD command if the tray is empty. But there is a EJECT command that will eject the tray, empty or not. If you want to impress your friends... (It works with a BV7-40 MKIII) /Frank
