'how it's supposed to be' on a £7k tv ..
Exactly my point. Since my MK IV was delivered, there has been nothing but endless flaws. So i got this Mk V panel update as a result of this, and it has actually made things even worse. Before i had a tv with humming noise and a lot of other flaws, but

The BS3 software was updatet to 9.01 at the same time, so maybe not a panel issue. Has anybody experienced similar after updating their sw? Regards Ehlerz
So, it is possible
The Mk V panel isn't LED, so the backlight should be consistent over the whole panel. Wouldn't really expect clouding issues, I would have thought. Re the new software (and/or the problem you had a couple of pages back that Struer were going to test) - both you and I had the problem of audio over ML being quieter
I have just finished putting together for Cliff (another Beoworlder) a guide for setting up and using LinkPlayer with his new BV7 and MacMini. If you would like a copy please send me a PM (the guide is written from the perspective of using LinkPlayer without a BeoPort but it may give you an appreciation of LinkPlayer's
