  • Re: Beo 5 or Logitech Harmony?

archie: In fact the harmony 1000 is OK or not with BO system ? my retailer say no.., but i like it . so what ? Logitech 1000 is an excellent remote. I really like it! Last month I had the choice: Beo4 vs. Beo5 vs. Logitech 1000 and the Logitech won. The finish is comprable with B&O.

  • Re: cabinet question

Razlaw: The B and O catalog and web page show two cabinets available. A larger one and a smaller one. What is the price of the smaller one? There is also mention of a glass front. How dark or how clear is the glass? Is the cabinet strong enough that it could be used to house a 50-55 pound Monster Power Voltage Stabilyzer? How many shelves come with

moxxey: Yes, but they were second hand! I bought a Beocom 2 second hand for £300 and it came with a huge chip on the handset - I can't use it, I can't blame a dealer and I'm only to blame by taking the risk of buying second hand. It can happen to anything. I've bought a second hand watch and it broke down and cost a lot of money

soundproof: I can't really sympathize. You've bought a pair of used BeoLab 1s, probably at a very considerable discount. The speakers are discontinued by B&O, and you expect to receive "as new" warranty and service? also consider that they just switched to another repair center as the former repair center was really bad. B&O

  • Bad experience with B&O---I think is time to switch the brand.

Hi all, The story is very short. Bought a pair of used Beolab 1 in mint condition three months ago from a dealer B&O. After 2 months and a half, one of the speakers’s needed to be repaired. Of course NO WARRANTY!!!???( even the non-dealers offers 1 years or 6 months warranty!!!) . The bill was 700$ and guess what: 2 scratches!!! I am really

Dave: It says something really when someone sells their BEOLAB 5'S in favour of their BL1 and BL4000 combo... different, don't of know anyone who would do that... nice Beolab 5 is a very good speaker. I was very excited last month when I bought them. However, I did not get used with the design. I preferred my black BL1. I had the same feeling
