bangandolufsen: For those that are still shopping for the holidays, make sure to visit your local Bang and Olufsen shop. You can give a pair of Beolab 5 or Beolab 9 speakers. If you are looking to spend less, there is always the Beosound 4 that would be a great stocking stuffer. Bang and Olufsen has something for everyone! Happy Holidays. Thanks Torben

Terrapolitan: @355f - So would you wait and buy a BV9 later in the year? Yes! You won't have to wait too long.

Plasma is a clear winner for TVs there is no doubt. LCD is best suited for computer monitors up to a certain screen size. Thanks for the link Stephen, an interesting read, albeit a short one. I saw Casino Royal (Blu Ray) playing through a Playstation 3 on a recent Fujitsu plasma and I was blown away. It was absolutly amazing. What is the panel used

I am confused why B&O are working with Aston Martin in the first place. Aston Martin is owned by Ford (or is it General Motors?) I am sure I heard somewhere that they are trying to sell it off because of such poor sales figures and huge losses. No wonder on a car of that price; can't be a very big market. Not sure what B&Os interest is in

I do a lot more than that when I am spending that kind of money, believe me!

What a beautiful inspiring story that is. Thank you. I must have missed this thread at the time but no worries as I have just read it all through now and followed the links to David's page on the B&O site. I have a tear in my eye actually because this is such a heart warming story and of course so true of life or those growing up in a communist

Its just dawned on me that my 'beloved' BeoVision 5 was only reviewed twice by known and reputable AV magazines. Because it wasn't HD compatable at the time, the only reviews we have are for the older sets. What help is that to anyone who considered buying an HD BeoVision 5? It had a newer panel type and was HD ready. It may well have scored

Good decision. Can't go wrong with a BV9. Its a great set and growing on me all the time. Hope you get lots of pleasure from it. All the best. Simon.

Dave, You go in with your Serene and state that it is not satisfactory, you therefore want a full refund or a replacement. You say that there is no other option other than these two, and ask what they are prepared to offer you. You don't leave the shop until you have are satisfied with their response. In the event that they refuse you then you do

Dave, yes you have had a lot of bad luck it seems! I don't like the sound of your dealer at all but I am making that judgement purely on what you have said about him so far. He does not sound like a good representative for the B&O brand at all. With regards to your question about the mobile health risks ... of course it is complete rubbish,
