Not sure of production numbers - but with inferior speakers amd less functions - to help keep the original costs down why would you want to save it when you could pick up a superior LX for next to nothing?? Perhaps if you were a museum trying to keep one of everything B&O - but would that be a model or a trim finish? Brian

I do not think these are still available from B&O - they do however come up on ebay sometimes so keep an eye open. I do not understand where they go - few people take them apart to repair the drivers s owhy are they disappearing! I have had some RL140s since they came out over 20 years ago and apart from some slight scuffing on the speaker cloth

Yes good hifi - we could not find an exact replacement but it was close enough for an older TV!!! I will try to find the size I ordered (not sure what records I kept as I felt that the refoamed speakers would outlast the TV!) Brian

Another vote for black, noir, svart, negro, sort, zwart, schwarz, czarny and preto! Brian

The part is a separate spare - not sure if it is still available though! I think it should be part 8860250 - but please check with the dealer before rushing out to buy it! Brian

I would vote for the BL9s too! However it is a very personal choice and the advantage of the other approach is that one can spread the cost more if that is an issue! Brian

I bought some foam rings from Holland and then repaired them - they work perfectly now. I can't remember the size off hand but should be able to dig out the details if you wish..... Brian.

Have you checked the continuity of all the pins in the 5 pin din socket from the RX2 turntable ? The earth wire suggestion should have helped identify if it is the earth in the connection that is causing this. Brian
