I've noticed a slight difference in sound after replacing my BL5000 amp. by a BL4500 amp [because the green display fits the green display of our penta !!!'s better] and vice versa, is this possible beacause they seemed simular in [almost] every way ?! The sound of the "new" BL5000 have slightly more bass and the "new" BL4500

Tsja het is een vraagje op voorhand [ik ben {nog} niet in het bezit van een setje BL2500 wel van een Beocenter2500] en wil weten of er alternatieven zijn voor de stoffen doekjes, welke ik toch duidelijk minder mooi vind dan de alu versie en bovendien veronderstel ik beter bescherming

To protect the speakers from [pressing and fiddling] little children's hands : is it possible to replace the cloth version front covers by the alu version on the Beolab2500 speakers without any adjustments ?

Weet iemand of de Front metal cover 6039 ipv. de Front cloth 6036 op een Beolab 2500 past ? is wellicht een overweging en los van een wellicht mooier uiterlijk, ook een wat betere bescherming dan textiel tegen bv. [drukkende] kinderhandjes ?

Heb zojuist een Beocenter2500 die met van die schuifdeurtjes...;-) [helaas zonder beolabjes 2500] aan kunnen schaffen en wil deze op dochterliefs kamer aan de avant [van 1998] "hangen" want dan behoeft ze geen speakers aan de muur te hangen en klan de center ook met de beo4 via de avant bedient worden, ik neem aan dat hier een converter voor

Hi Christian, 150,= ? that's a real bargain, have fun with them ! I've owned a pair of those, had them on the wall in the livingroom and I really liked them, I've replaced them with their active 5000 brothers in combination with our penta's for surround sake. The sound of the 5000 is very good imho open sound with sufficient bass coming
