There's a way to change the caller ID setting on a BeoCom 4 ... but the US BeoCom 1's and 2's are only built for the US Standard so that's a no go. I would imagine the same problem applies for the BeoTalk 1200(1100?) as well.

The speakers will work with a standard stereo adaptor (Part no. 6270302 in the US), but you won't see any info on the displays.

Rob, Thats not what I would worry about. As far as wireless connectivity they're going to work as well there as they do here. If they interfere with your wireless network here, they will interfere with your wireless network there, etc. In the US we've WAY overused the 2.4Ghz spectrum so chances are you'd be more likely to have problems with

soundproof: When something's too good to be true! Yes, I managed to get one-way control of a BV8 linked to a Beomaster 6500 that I have two-way control of. (Option 2 and Option 4, respectively). But today I noticed that the BV8 is feeding the Beomaster with an additional IR pulse - turning 1 into 11 and one channel presses into two-channel jumps

Keith Saunders: Alex, As there is several solutions to this issue, can you please confirm that you used Nyko remote solution as shown previously described in this tread or a different product. If different, then could you please provide the details. Keith, I used the Nyko remote as suggested in this thread. Buy.com has it for sale for $20 (which is

I've had the same problem with an Apple TV for months ... fortunately the customer also purchased a BeoMedia so it wasn't all that important at the time. Now Post-Macworld-Keynote it's certainly an issue that I need to resolve. The weird thing about my installation is that I have a BV7MKIII originally connected to and controlling the Apple

Just so everyone knows it works like a dream! The usb dongle that connects to the PS3 is very very unobtrusive as well so it actually looks pretty "professional" !
-
TripEnglish: I can't vouch that this would actually work, since I haven't noticed the PS3 in the PUC The PS3 is, in fact, in the PUC. I've yet to try this IR Receiver, but I have a client who's looking for the Beo5/PS3 integration so I'll be trying this out hopefully on Monday. I'll let you all know how it goes!

Anyone had any face time with one of these yet? I took one home tonight and I must say ... the sound quality is really something else! So far it lives up to the hype! Anyone else have a chance to take a test drive yet?

1) Hit the "MENU" button on the Beo4 ;-) ... sometimes the easiest questions have the simplest answers 2) I tried replicating the problem in our showroom and I dont seem to be having it ... but all of our TVs here run off of BeoSystem 3 (including our BV7s!!!). It might be a minor glitch that has since been resolved with a software update
