Hi there I would love to help, but the BEogram cd 5500 is is a setup in a different room in a closet so it is not that easy to switch around. BUT how about this: I currently got a beocord5500 connected to the BC900 as tape2. If I connect it to the a-aux connection on the BC900 and tests if that works.
