I'm actually very impressed with ATV. It really is an Ipod for your home entertainment system. In fact ATV makes more sense with B&O than with most other gear. Let me stipulate several things: I'm not an Apple fanatic. In fact I haven't owned a Mac since 1988! There are many home media servers available that are also very good. In fact

beojeff: With the new Beosystem 1/Avant software update, both can be controlled with the Beo4. beojeff, Can you tell me more about the Avant software update? Does AppleTV now appear as one of the "brands" on the list? What source are you using in the Avant? I assume STB. Also, does the software give you "fast scroll" on the ATV.

I'm looking for a pair of Beovox 3000 (panel), possibly 4500s. If there is a pair looking for a good home, let me know b/f they go on Ebay. They must be in A+ condition. Thanks

It's probably the same one that I saw on Ebay. If it is, it is true from the specs that the video aux input is NTSC. But that's it! As for voltage, I think also you can make it work with 110/120 the use of transformers. However, I'd recommend you stay away.for not much more you can now buy properly spec'd Avants (ie. North America) on

PL212: Holdon everyone -- if the question is whether you can replace a BeoMaster of any kind with an AV7000, the answer is no: the AV7000 is not an audio master and has no connections for extra audio equipment such as the CD, Tape and Phono. It may look similar to a BeoMaster 7000, but it's really not! Agreed AV7000 and BM7000 are two completely

No, we never got the LC2 in the US. We only got the LC1. I'll be putting mine up for sale soon. Don't use it any more as Lintronic with X10 does all I need and more.

Does any one use Irtrans with Girder 4.0 for control of Win XP applications with a Beo4? I need a little tech support. Thanks

With all the collaboration with Samsung, I thought this was article on a dual format BR/HDVD player was interesting. Could it form the basis of a future B&O product? I know it's not the first or only dual format player.

I am also in the US. I have used Lintronic for aout two years now. It is a great little box. Michael at Lintronic is always amazingly responsive. I use it to control my Apple TV and X-10. I also use it to control my AppleTV from ML rooms via whole house X-10. Not ideal, but it works. I'm glad to help if you have questions as well.
