Thanks Beolab, I keep trying to find someplace that has the PV 1 locally but have not had much luck. To me that sub looks more like a B&O design anyway. I like the velodyne DD series, but it's just a typical box design even though custom colors are available. Now the quest to find one in the flesh! Roger

Proud owner of silver BL-1's with black frets to the sides of a black BV-4, I really love them. BL4000's are next for the rears. Last piece will likely be a subwoofer, researching which one I want, not too keen on the BL 2. I don't want a "boomy or muddy" sub. Music is most important consideration for a sub, if it works great with

The person or persons responsible for this install, did a very good job. The incorporation into the car looks to be worthy of B&O. I would love to hear this system.

I am not sure how well it performs in a moving auto, but check out the pictures in the B&O website community photos. BS 9000 w/ Beolab 3's, in a Delorean http://www.bang-olufsen.com/Community/photos/photo-thumbnails.asp?albumid=153 Roger

Spotted Beoloab 5's in the new series "Tell Me you Love Me" on HBO last night. Must confess I was watching for the "cutting edge" scenes but became more aroused when I saw the BL 5's hahahahahaha, I'm pathetic. Thats the first time I've seen them in a TV program or movie. Roger

I drive my wife nuts with my B&O product radar! I was always told by B&O staff thet B&O never offers their products for placement. Whether they appear in TV shows or movies they are purchased and not just offered for advertising via product placement. I would assume that if they are indeed purchased, then the buyer can use them as they see

I like this better, too. I am about due to replace the phones my wife and I have now. Will this be available in the US? Roger

Beophile, Thanks for the additional information. It will be very valuable when I upgrade my system in the future. Roger

Beophile, Thank you for the information. I have noticed that the BL 7-2 produces most of the LFE when using Speaker 3 and the BL 1's are much more muted is the best way to describe the sound. I'll have to ask my dealer about the "DTS box" if and when I get a sub. I'm not too keen on the BeoLab 2, I prefer the Velodyne DD series

"One last oddity relates to base redirection if no subwoofer is used......my suggestion is to use a subwoofer and avoid the issue." Beophile, great read but your "oddity" regarding bass rediredftion has me a little curious. I am not using a sub with my BS 1, can you elaborate a little on what this oddity is? I have BV 4, BL 1's
