I think its better to change to 7-4 I have the same speakersetup as yours and BV9 but without BL2 look at this: http://forum.beoworld.org/forums/t/31736.aspx

in BS3 you choose wich speaker you have. So if you dont have/choose BL2 the subsignal goes to front speaker So there is no "subwoofer off"
