i agree with you peter... but a complete and in mint condition beolab 5000 system incl. the beovox 5000 and 2500 speakers is nearly impossible to find... the design is great and historical the first project for b&o from jacob jensen. i'm sure that the beomaster 4400 match perfectly with the beogram 4002(4) series. but, i don't like the design

i thought the beolab 5000 is one of the best amplifier made from b&o?!? --- my system-idea was simular: oldscool-style: beogram 4002 incl. mmc 20 cl retipped by van den hul and a beolab 5000 with good speakers. any ideas? modern-style: beogram 4002 incl. mmc 20 cl retipped by van den hul / pro-ject phonobox 2 / pro-ject pre box / option pro-ject

ciao loris, la mmc 20cl van den hul l'o aquistata usata su ebay olanda per 111.– euros. i've bought the mmc 20 cl van den hul on ebay.nl for 111.– euros. in my opinion a really fair price... ;-) it comes with the original box, papers and the stylus is from february 1986!!! on the box is a price written by hand arround 493.–

;-) mille grazie loris... for shure i'm concerned about aesthetics, it's a part of my job. i'm a communication designer... jacob jensen did a great job with the beogram 4000 series. these are hifi-equipment milestones and in my opinion the best products ever manufactured by b&o. the stripes on the glass platter can also be manufactured

thank you for the fast answer. as i thought as much, the mirrored glass platter and the aluminium record clamp are most likely special manufacturered... i like both, the tuned look (exepting the grado pick-up) and the original look. has somebody got any other tip to optimize the beogram 4002? (belt, built-in motor, etc.) thanks

hi peter, i've bought a beogram 4002 from a friend in switzerland. the beogram is in a nearly mint condition. only a few scratches can you find on the acrylic cover. unfortunately the pickup is only a mmc 20 s, but it is in a very well condition... with the pro-ject phono box 2 the sound is pretty good. i'll tune my beogram like your picture

vielleicht kann dir da peter aus dem englischen forum weiterhelfen. der kennt sich gut mit der beogram 4000 serie aus (inkl. beogram 6000). grüsse d.

ciao speedmaster, denke auch, dass die shibata nadel mit der auflösung bis 50khz mehr sinn auf einem highend-plattenspieler oder auf dem beogram 6000 als quadrophonic lösung macht. hab mal bei wikipedia nachgeschaut wie cd4 funktioniert... ausserdem ist das menschliche gehör gar nicht im stande so höhe töne wahrzunehmen und

hallo jens, besten dank fürs schnelle feedback. hab bei schallplattennadeln.de nachgefragt und umgehend eine offerte bekommen. verglichen mit den in meinen augen überteuerten soundsmith nadeln, bekommt man bei herrn schürholz nochwas für's geld. scheint mir einen seriösen eindruck zu machen. am liebsten hätte ich den
