Hi, to help you pick an exact location for your 9000 that suits you and your room - make a cardbord/paper copy to the 9000s exact size. Bluetack it in place, view it from all positions-if thats ok can you and yours reach its top cd position etc . Leave space in the wall where you can push your slack power/masterlink/co-ax/speaker cables. [quote user

Nice find and thanks for posting it!

Hi, the first question is do all your cd's work on another cd player. If so when you load a cd does the 9000 sound like its hunting for the cd? I have just encountered the same problem with one and the b&o technican told me it was the focus mech thats gone. It could be several things but best bet it to get onto your dealer.

I had forgotten to night was the end of the month! I did take pictures of my last months first prize but no chance of getting them up to night. Best of luck all.

Check your warranty, you could still be covered.
A bit disappointing after only 2yrs use.

the best height to position a pair of beolab 4
The lab 4 is very flexable speaker to mount. I do not think the height matters as much as its question of where you angle/direct them. Mounted horizontally you have a lot of adjustment with their brackets. There is definatly a zone that the sound is directed twoards

Dilznik, the hard way is the best way. Its more hassle to run cables but thinking about is worse than doing it. Wirless set ups either work or they do not and it varies from house to house. Personally I would run the cables and enjoy the link!

I think Peter is right about the avant. On the bl2 you only have one in socket and this is link between your tv/beosound. The two out sockets on the bl2 are for your left and right speakers "IF" you have them both individually cabled. If you have daisy chained your speakers (looped) you just plug into one of the out sockets
