BeoSound 4000 is also known as BeoSound Ouverure. You might have heard about that one..... It is hard to say what is wrong from a distance. Might be a connector that came loose or a PCB that has broken, who knows. The only way to find out is having it repaired.......

Just curious, what is a BeoLit 6000 as mentioned? Are they 10 BeoLit's 600 daisychained to each other?? Or maybe 12 BeoLit's 500, or 15 BeoLit's 400??

Well, your BeoVision 1 is a rebranded Philips! The picturetube is Philips, and that is the biggest part in your BeoVision 1, so it must be a Philips..... if we start calling the use of parts of a certain brand rebranding than everything you can buy is rebranded!

If you change the Powerlinkcables of the rear speakers to Front in your BeoVision (so connect the rearspeakers as front with their own cables), do you still have the problem?

The sensor of your LC2 probably needs replacing. This is the dome on your LC2 that you touch when you want to operate it by hand. If this does not work you can't control it by hand or program it, since touching the dome is part of the programming. Replace the dome and the contact rubber. This problem is quite common with LC2.

Verder slaat de spanning van een bliksem bij een inslag vaak gewoon over de beveiliging heen. Tegen dat soort spanningen is niet te beveiligen. Gewoon de stekkers eruit bij onweer, da's hetmeest betrouwbare! Ik heb wel eens een LCD TV zien spelen (merk Diboss), eerst zonder en later met actief netfilter. Het verschil in beeldkwaliteit was behoorlijk
