Mind you, although I would buy an MX7000 or MX8000, for just slightly more money I think i'd look for a nice condition Avant with a Beo4 in good nick - cracking TV and an unbelievable bargain these days A 5-grand TV for a couple of hundred quid...!!

BS9000 and BeoVision 5 in my opinion. Obviously BV10 and BV9's are descendants of the BeoVision 5, the BV5 was the design - classic B&O

3 or 4 years ago I bought an absolute mint MX4000 from a couple in the west midlands who lived in a Huf Haus. Quite spectacular it was ~ especially as it was kitted out with all (the lastest) B&O gear too! Personally though, I wouldnt want to live in one full time I dont think.
