here are the caps and result on my second Beomaster 4000. Origianlly had no sound out of the rt channel but after some fixing I now have a nice solid hum, but there are other mechanical switching issues as well. currently stored away and on the "to do later list".

A few moths back after refurbing a CD3300 I couldnt get the *** to play at all. I kept relaoding and restarting. I was freaking out cause it had more or less been working OK before the refurb. It was only after about the fifth or 6th try that I realized I was loading the disk upside down. Damn CD50's !!!!!

I would rather bid on the ugly ass old Tandberg. The mirror finish stuff with the white sidewalls just doesnt appeal to me.
