Well, I had the CD-mechanism and the door mechanism replaced at the same time. Combined the bill was € 494. I have no idea what it would cost to replace just the CD-mechanism.

Hello Sonja and Welcome to Beoworld! I had a similar problem with my Beosystem 2300 two years ago. In my case the entire CD unit was broken and replaced by a new one.
